Packers fans can give a big sigh of relief while Bears fans might be rethinking how good their team actually is.

Thursday night the Green Bay defense returned in a big way as the Packers defeated NFC North rivals Chicago 23-10 from Lambeau Field.

Clay Matthews and the rest of the Green Bay D make things nightmarish for the Jay Cutler and the Chicago offense picking the Bears QB off four times and sacking him a total of seven times.

Despite Greg Jennings not playing (groin), Aaron Rodgers was good enough going 22/32 for 219 yards, one touchdown and one interception. And as for Cedric Benson who faced the team that drafted him in first round back in 2005 rushed for 81 yards on 20 total attempts.

Not bad but not great as both offenses were pretty sluggish to start.

The Bears and Packers now sit atop the NFC North with one win a piece.
