Arnold Palmer

After Jose Fernandez earlier in the day, the death of golfing legend Arnold Palmer (87) capped off a spectacularly shitty Sunday in the sports world.

Known as “The King” within his sport, Palmer won seven major championships, including the Masters on four separate occasions, was one of the first inductees into the World Golf Hall of Fame awarded the PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Award in 1998.

Additionally, Palmer secured 62 total wins on the PGA Tour ranking fifth on the all-time list, two European Tour wins and 10 Champions Tour wins.
