According to the Detroit Free Press, both UM and MSU added recruits to their 2011 recruiting class.
UM added Houston St. Pius linebacker Kellen Jones who is listed at 6-feet-1 and 209 pounds. Rivals ranks him as the No. 32 inside linebacker in the nation and a three-star prospect (out of five). He is U-M’s ninth commitment in the class.
In addition to UM Jones also received scholarship offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Illinois, Missouri, Purdue, Stanford, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Virginia and others.
MSU also added a recruit to their roster by getting a verbal commitment from Mikail McCall a RB from Dolton, Illinois.
McCall is rated at three stars (out of five) by Rivals. The 5-foot-11, 210-pounder also reportedly had scholarship offers from Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Purdue, Syracuse and Central Michigan.
