It looks as though Ndamukong Suh decided it was time to make an appearance in Detroit and grace us with his presence for OTA’s. This is according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Not only that though, after being a no-show at the voluntary workouts (despite most of the team being there and himself wanting that captains role last season) he still maintained some sort of contact with new head coach Jim Caldwell. Here’s an excerpt from Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com.

Caldwell said he’s talked and texted with Suh this offseason and expects him to take part in the team practices this week.

“Do I know that he’ll be here? I would anticipate that he would be here,” Caldwell said.

“Obviously, he’s a great player and he’s also got great leadership ability as well. So, to have him back in here working amongst the group is going to be a great time for everybody.”

No word yet though if Suh started following Caldwell on Twitter or accepted his friend requests on Facebook. Stay tuned for that.
