The state of Michigan certainly doesn’t have a shortage of exceptional college QB talent…

Michigan State’s Kirk Cousins, Michigan’s Denard Robinson and Western Michigan’s Alex Carder were all named to the final watch list for the Manning Awarded recognizing the nation’s top collegiate quarterback.

All three are in very good company with exceptional QB’s in Taylor Martinez of Nebraska and Dan Persa of Northwestern also making the list.

The winner will be announced on January 18th, 2012.
