According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, the Lions are set to interview former Titans head coach Mike Munchak this Friday.

Munchak, who was fired by the Titans this past weekend, becomes the second scheduled interview by the Lions who are looking to replace the ousted Jim Schwartz.

In addition to Munchak, former Titans offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains will also reportedly be present during the interview.

Munchak went 7-9 with the Titans last season and spent 31 years within the organization stretching all the way back when they were still the Houston Oilers.

The Lions conducted their first formal interview with Ravens offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell last Friday and have also recently sought permission to interview Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden. Despite though the perceived interest in these candidates it’s believed that Chargers OC Ken Whisenhunt remains the front runner for the Detroit head coaching job.
