According to the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Lions have added Winston Moss to their list of potential head coaching candidates as the team has submitted a request to interview the longtime Packers linebackers coach.

A former linebacker himself with the Buccaneers, Raiders and Seahawks, Moss has been coaching with the Packers since 2006. He recently earned a promotion to assistant head coach this past season.

Moss further joins a growing list of potential names that could emerge as Jim Caldwell’s successor. So far the Lions have been linked to New England DC Matt Patricia, Houston DC Mike Vrabel, Carolina DC Steve Wilks and Minnesota OC Pat Shurmur.
