Lions

The Detroit Lions continue to try and makeshift themselves into the New England Patriots of the midwest.

According to Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com, the team hired former Patriots football operations staffer Kevin Anderson to head their own department of the same name.

Anderson will also serve as an assistant to newly appointed general manager Bob Quinn who like him spent the last decade with the New England Patriots.

Still though the Lions have half-assed the Patriots approach by keeping around Jim Caldwell. I’m sorry but you can’t fully convince me that a career Patriots guy like Bob Quinn would want to keep around a Tony Dungy guy like deer in the headlights Caldwell.
