Former Boise State QB Kellen Moore was the winningest quarterback in the NCAA and ended up going undrafted in this past April’s NFL Draft. Despite that Moore almost immediately signed on with the Detroit Lions to fill a role as third string QB when Drew Stanton left last offseason to sign a contract with the New York Jets.

However after a series of OTA’s in which Moore was unimpressive to say the least, the Lions went out and signed some competition for Moore in Arena League passer R.J. Archer.

Archer played college football with William & Mary before going undrafted in 201o. Archer spent time with the Minnesota Vikings in 2010 before joining the Georgia Force of the Arena League.

Moore though definitely has the advantage heading into camp based off his overall talent and track record in college.
