Aaron Rodgers isn’t the only Packer unhappy with a Lions player.

According to Michael David Smith of ProFootballTalk.com, Packers RB Ryan Grant believes that Lions DT Ndamukong Suh shouldn’t be back on the field in two weeks after stomping on teammate Evan Dietrich-Smith last Thursday…

“Do I think it needs to be longer? Yeah, I do,” Grant said on WSSP in Milwaukee, via SportsRadioInterviews.com. “I think it’s absurd. It was about as overboard as you can get what he did; it’s just not football. Can’t have that. It was ridiculous, and it’s not something you want to see regardless. I’m not a fan of the apology, I’m not a fan of what he said. Anybody in hindsight can say all that, but we’re talking about something that’s not exactly a first occurrence. There have been issues, there have been talks and communication with the commissioner and across the board.”

Suh had an appeals hearing Thursday afternoon in front of Art Shell of the NFL.

Shell hasn’t come to a decision on Suh’s appeal however Smith points out that Suh’s suspension is much stiffer than other on the field incidents this season. For instance Packers CB Charles Woodson wasn’t suspended or ejected for that matter for punching Saints tight end David Thomas. The same can be said too for Vikings defensive end Brian Robinson was also neither ejected or suspended for kicking Packers guard T.J. Lang in the groin.
