With Ndamukong Suh set to hit the open market this spring, he’ll undoubtedly be the most sought after free agent this NFL shopping season. However it doesn’t appear, at least right now that he’ll be in unfamiliar territory next season.

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, the Lions are making it a high priority to re-sign the All-Pro defensive tackle and are seen as the favorites to bring back Suh in 2015.

Cap-wise, brining back Suh still presents problems for the Lions but according to Mortensen, reallocating money could become the team’s solution even if that means parting ways with star wide receiver Calvin Johnson. Parting with Megatron though seems like a last resort as the team seems confident that they’ll be able to keep both on the roster.
