Tony Romo

Every single season it seems like it’s only a matter of time before Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo suffers some catastrophic injury that keeps him out of the lineup for long long stretches of games.

Well that ‘time’ is now.

Saturday it was revealed Romo via a MRI has a broken bone in his back after leaving last Thursday’s game in the first quarter against the Seattle Seahawks.

Jason Garrett didn’t say there was  timetable for the veteran quarterback’s return however NBC Sports is reporting that Romo could be sidelined anywhere from 6-10 weeks. Aside from NBC’s timetable, Garrett is still confident Romo will return at some point this season.

Granted Romo has returned from various injuries in the past including a broken back which’s he’s played with you have to start wondering at this point how much more this guy can take?
