Ravens insider Aaron Wilson is reporting that the Lions will sign linebacker Josh Bynes off the Ravens practice squad to the active roster.

Bynes is 25 years old and checks in at 6’1″ and 240 lbs. while playing his college ball at Auburn.
Bynes went undrafted and signed with the Ravens in 2011 playing 26 games in the past three seasons while starting 9 of those contests. He’s recorded 79 total tackles in his career and 4 passes defended. He hasn’t made an appearance in the 2014 season, but has been a member of the Ravens practice squad.
Bynes will likely replace Stephen Tulloch on the active roster once he is officially placed on injured reserve with his torn ACL.
