MLB: Spring Training-Detroit Tigers at Atlanta Braves
The Tigers (18-9) go for their 7th straight win tonight when they take on the Houston Astros (10-22) in Game 2 of the four game series from Comerica Park. First pitch is scheduled for 7:08PM ET and you can watch the game live on FOX Sports Detroit or listen live on 97.1FM The Ticket.

Or as always on you can track the game on both the Majors Detroit Facebook and Twitter Feeds.

Probables:

Robbie Ray, LHP

The Tigers’ top pitching prospect Robbie Ray will be making his major league debut in Detroit tonight. Ray, 22, was acquired from the Washington Nationals in the Doug Fister trade which also brought the Tigers lefty Ian Krol, who has been a very solid contributor in the bullpen already this season. Ray was a 12th round pick out of high school back in 2010 by the Nationals, but would have gone higher had he not had several D1 offers on the table that he was strongly considering. He currently holds a 3-2 record at AAA Toledo with a miniscule 1.53 ERA, as one of the International leagues youngest players.

Brett Oberholtzer

Take a look at this ugly stat line: 0 W – 5 L, 5.63 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, .305 BAA, 27 K’s, 10 BB, 32.0 IP.

That’s the line so far for Astros starter Brett Oberholtzer, who is in a three-way tie with Brandon McCarthy and Trevor Cahill for the major league lead in losses. Olberholtzer has never faced off with any of the Tigers hitters except Ian Kinsler, so the Tiger lineup will have some fresh meat to feast on.
