The Red Wings placed defenseman Danny DeKeyser on the long term injured reserve Wednesday after suffering a separated shoulder Tuesday night in a 2-0 loss to the Predators.
According to GM Ken Holland (via Ansar Khan of Mlive.com) DeKeyser will miss a minimum of 10 games (or 24 days) during the stretch.
The Red Wings have placed Danny DeKeyser on long-term injured reserve, Ken Hollland said. So he's out minimum 10 games and 24 days.

No word yet on who will be called up to take DeKeyser’s place while he’s on IR.
