Jose Iglesias made his return to Fenway Park Monday afternoon after a July trade sent the very talented shortstop to Detroit as part of a three team deal with with the Chicago White Sox.
Iglesias whose known for his glove certainly put that on display once again this time in the bottom of the 6th when he was able to turn what Rod Allen could only describe as a “sick” 6-1 double-play.
Me, I’m still at a loss for words at what this guy can do with the leather. “Sick” may end up being an understatement.
Dan Fenner of the Oakland Press may have the best analogy…
Different sports, but Jose Iglesias is every bit the magician that Pavel Datsyuk is. Wow. #Tigers
