Detroit could’ve secured a spot in the playoffs for the 22nd straight year however Columbus was able to take care of the Dallas Stars 3-1 Thursday night keeping their postseason hopes alive.

Now it all comes down to the final game Saturday for the Wings.

A win or an overtime loss for Detroit on Saturday over the Stars will propel the Wings into the playoffs.
