Prior to tonight’s All-Star Game, former Reds great Pete Rose was introduced as a “Franchise Four” with the Reds and shown on the big video screen.

To no one’s surprise the Reds fans were extremely welcoming of the all-time hits leader giving Rose a one-minute and thirty-second standing ovation. By far the longest ovation given to a Red during the All-Star Game festivities, more so than Johnny Bench and Todd Frazier. Fans however seemed to be a little crazier when it came to what Frazier was able to do during these last couple of days.

Anyways, you have to figure Bud Selig somewhere is pissed. Or how about ESPN and their Outside the Lines Report that let the world know that Pete Rose was betting on baseball while playing baseball.

First I think you’d have to be pretty crazy to think Rose didn’t bet on baseball when he was a player. Second that OTL report was done more so to hurt FOX rather than Rose who ironically works for FOX.

Either way people still love Rose in Cincinnati, no one is talking about the OTL report anymore and the all-time hits king will still probably… one day make it into the Hall of Fame.
