After Kobe Bryant criticized Lakers management for their handling of Pau Gasol and the trade speculation surrounding him, Bulls star Derrick Rose has spoken up about how good of a fit Gasol may be in Chicago.

In fact, Rose has a trade proposal of his own.

Rose told Bulls management that they should present a package to the Lakers centered around Carlos Boozer in exchange for Gasol, according to a report on Spanish site Marca.com and confirmed by SheridanHoops.com.

“He hasn’t said so publicly, but he has made that known privately,” a source told SheridanHoops.
The Lakers attempted to move Gasol in the failed Chris Paul trade however rumors surrounding the Spanish forwards exit out of Los Angeles persisted.
Meanwhile, Boozer and the $46 million dollars remaining on his contract isn’t seen as a marketable asset so Derrick Rose may want to try again.
