Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles left Sunday’s game against the Bears after a non-contact right knee injury.

The news however gets worse as the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport tweets that the Chiefs fear their star running back suffered a torn ACL after initial tests on the knee.

The play certainly looks bad enough to warrant ACL suspicion. No contact, planted foot and a quick jerk to the knee.

If it is an ACL injury it doesn’t Dr. James Andrews to determine Charles would be gone for the rest of the season. And if it is indeed an ACL injury, this would be the second such injury for Charles who tore his left ACL back in 2012.
