Caleb Moore still in critical condition after X-Games crash, family believes he “he won’t make it”

Caleb Moore is reportedly still in critical condition at a Colorado hospital following a gruesome accident Friday night at the X-Games when his snowmobile toppled over him on a landing ramp. Moore lay on the ground for several minutes but eventually walked away from the accident only to be rushed into emergency surgery for internal bleeding.

Now the prognosis seems even worse as doctors and his family aren’t certain that his life can be saved (Denver Post):

“Caleb is not doing good at all,” Caleb’s grandfather Charles Moore told The Denver Post Monday afternoon. “The prognosis is not good at all. It’s almost certain he’s not going to make it.”

“Caleb is in critical condition and is being closely monitored,” family spokeswoman Chelsea Lawson said Monday evening. “The Moores want to express their gratitude to all of Caleb’s fans, friends and family for their strong support and ask for continued prayers in the coming days. The family will not be making any other public statements for the time being. Thank you for respecting the family’s privacy during this difficult time.”

Moore also apparently suffered a concussion which would his 11th according to his mother.

Very sad news.
