George A. King III of the New York Post writes that after giving up nine runs in his last start, Yankees starter A.J. Burnett is likely headed to the bullpen.

If this were to happen the big question then will be who replaces Burnett in the starting rotation?

It’s still yet to be seen who replaces Burnett in the starting rotation (again if it were to happen) but you it’s being talked about that Adam Warren could get the call.

Now even though he defended him two weeks ago, Yankees GM Brian Cashman said that that Burnett?s $82.5 million contract won’t be a factor in any rotation decisions that are made going forward.
