UFC 200

Brock Lesnar was successful in his return to the octagon beating Mark Hunt via unanimous decision at UFC 200 from Las Vegas.

It was Lesnar’s first match back in the UFC since December 11th, 2011 when he suffered a round one loss to Alistair Overeem. It was also his first win since defeating Shane Carwin with a arm-triangle choke on July 3rd 2010.

Lesnar looked good too.

His ground game was typical Lesnar, dominating on the ground, so much so it didn’t look like he missed a step. Meanwhile it was also clear that if the former UFC champion was going to be defeated it was going to happen when he was on his feat.

So what does the future hold for Lesnar when it comes to MMA?

There’s not telling and Lesnar has been noncommittal.

He’s maintained in the past that he’s a ‘prize fighter’ so it’s entirely possible that he’ll fight once again in the UFC if the money’s right. He’s certainly still a draw and competitive so Dana White will probably be jumping at the opportunity to get him booked for his next UFC bout.

As far as his WWE career goes. Lesnar is currently scheduled to take on Randy Orton at SummerSlam this coming August.
