The manhunt for the second Boston Marathon bomber is over.

After a city put on lockdown and the one of the largest manhunts in U.S. history, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev the 19-year second suspect was taken into custody alive reports WHDH reports.

Law enforcement pinned the suspect down in a boat located in a Watertown, MA neighborhood. This development came less than hour after officials gave residents the green light to leave their homes.

It was reported that tactical teams used flash grenades and thermal imaging to help bring the suspect to justice. Witnesses also were said to of seen the suspect covered in blood as he was led away in an ambulence to be treated at a Boston area hospital.

In addition to these these developments in Watertown, three suspects were taken into custody in New Bedford, MA as part of the Boston Marathon bombing investigation. At this point it’s unclear the connection those three individual have in the case or if they’re involved in any way.

And as news spread of the suspects capture, USA Chants erupted at Citi Field in New York.
