Shades of 1994: Boston news cameras trail Pats TE Aaron Hernandez who could be arrested for his connection to a Homicide

The obstruction of justice charge could come as a result of Hernandez destroying his home security system as well as turning over a cell phone to police that was reportedly ‘in pieces’.

WBZ in Boston further reported Friday morning that Hernandez may also be charged with the death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd according to a source.

According to that source, an arrest warrant has been issued on a charge of obstruction of justice.

It is expected that State Police will be responsible for arresting Hernandez, but it is not yet clear when and where Hernandez was going to be arrested.

The source added that it is possible that charges could eventually be upgraded.

The Patriots also reportedly told Hernandez to stay away from the team’s facilities.

UPDATE: There’s conflicting reports on an arrest warrant for Hernandez. Some media outlets are saying no arrest warrant has been issued.
