Sunday the Los Angeles Lakers were bounced in embarrassing fashion from the playoffs after losing 122-86 to Dallas and losing the series in four straight. Besides the Phil Jackson era in L.A. seemingly ending with a thud, the other big story coming out of this game was the inexcusable flagrant foul given by the L.A.’s Andrew Bynum to a defenseless J.J. Barea.

“We were getting embarrassed, they were breaking us down. So I just fouled somebody,” Bynum said after the game. “I was just kind of salty about being embarrassed. … For me, it was embarrassing to have the smallest guy on the court keep running down the lane and making shots.”

The questions that come out of this for the Lakers is how many games will Bynum be suspended for next season (if the season starts on time) and where do the Lakers go from here?
