C.C. Sabathia allowed no runs on three hits over six innings pitched as the Yankees shelled the Astros 8-1 in Game 3 Monday night.

After scoring just two runs the first two game of the series, the Yankees bats came alive including Aaron Judge whose fourth inning three-run home run broke the game open for New York.

Meanwhile one of baseball’s more prolific offenses was held in check as the Yankees were able to cut into Houston’s ALCS lead. New York will have a chance to tie the series up Tuesday night as Sonny Grey takes the mound for the Pinstripes while Brad Peacock gets the start for Houston.
