As reported by ESPN, The Raiders and Seahawks have agreed to trade QB Matt Flynn for a late draft pick in 2014 and a conditional draft pick in 2015. In a related move, the Cardinals are also rumored to be acquiring QB Carson Palmer from the Raiders for “minimal compensation”.

More details will follow as they are announced.

Flynn signed with the Seahawks last off season, and has 2 years left on his current contract. He will make $5.25 Million in 2013 and $6.25 Million in 2014.

Palmer threw for 4,018 yards in 2012 with 22 TD’s and 14 INT’s.

The Cardinals were looking to address the Quarterback position in this off season with either a veteran free agent or a young draft picks. This move gives them a veteran, instead of gambling on a rookie QB in a weak draft class.
