1. Kansas City Chiefs – QB from West Virginia – Geno Smith – Jason says that they pass up a lot of needs for Geno Smith. I disagree since the quarterback position is a HUGE need and because the Chiefs are currently stuck with Cassel and Quinns. I like Smith over Barkley here.

2. Jacksonville Jaguars – DE from Florida State – Bjoern Werner – This team is terrible at getting after the quarterback. Werner is without question the best DE in the draft and is the first DE off the board for sure.

3. Oakland Raiders – NT from Utah – Star Loutelli – Richard Seymour isn’t as productive as he used to be. I don’t see how you can pass this guy up especially when your defense only had 23 total sacks.

4. Philadelphia Eagles – OT from Texas A&M – Luke Joeckel – Whether Michael Vick is back or not, protecting Nick Foles or whoever the next quarterback is should be this teams main goal. Joeckel is a great LT and the best OL in the draft. Clearly you can’t pass him up.

5. Detroit Lions – ILB from Notre Dame – Manti Te’o – Here we go again with this team. With Durant and Levy scheduled to leave, I think LB is a big need here. Te’o is a leader and someone you need defensively especially once the services of Suh become available. As much as defensive end is a need here, you can find another defensive end in the later rounds. Or trade back into the first round for a guy like Alex Okafor.

6. Cleveland Browns – CB from Alabama – DeMarcus Milliner – Sheldon Brown won’t be back and that’s the only thing the Browns have in the secondary other than Joe Haden. Finding a sold number two at corner is a need here. I like Milliner a lot for the Browns.

7. Arizona Cardinals – QB from USC – Matt Barkely – Whoever the Chiefs take, the Cardinals take the opposite here at seven.

8. Buffalo Bills – OLB from LSU – Barkevious Mingo – At first I had the Bills taking a receiver but I feel that they can find one in the second one. Go get someone to help out your defense. Barkevious Mingo can get after the QB and I like this pick a lot.

9. New York Jets – OLB from Georgia – Jarvis Jones – Maybe Rex Ryan can get a tattoo of a player who’s actually good?

10. Tennessee Titans – DE from Texas A&M – Damontre Moore – Moore falls a little bit in my draft but you know what that’s ok. He’ll be a great fit in Tennessee.

11. San Diego Chargers – OT from Texas A&M – Jake Matthews – With problems on this offensive line and players like Michael Harris starting at LT, Jake Matthews could learn the position and be a much better player.

12. Miami Dolphins – WR from California – Keenan Allen – With the Dolphins trading away Brandon Marshall name another Dolphins WR.

13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – CB from Mississippi State – Johnthan Banks – Ronde Barber is probably going to retire after the season and Aqib Talib is a Patriot now. Banks makes the most sense here.

14. Carolina Panthers – DT from Missouri – Sheldon Richardson – The pass rush for the Panthers is brutal. Richardson is one of the better DT’s in this year’s draft and has a great chance to start right away in Carolina.

15. New Orleans Saints – DT from Ohio State – Jonathan Hankins – The Saints could pretty much draft whatever other than tight end and quarterback. I think Hankins up the middle for this defense would be a solid selection by the Saints.

16. St. Louis Rams – OT from Michigan – Taylor Lewan – Sam Bradford is in a make or break like season. And with that said you have to protect him as well as get him weapons. With two first round picks they can fill both needs. I like Lewan even though Jadevon Clowney had his way with him in the Outback Bowl.

17. Pittsburgh Steelers – CB from Florida State – Xavier Rhodes – I question Xavier Rhodes, I really do but I still believe the Steelers will take a chance on him because they need to upgrade their secondary.

18. Dallas Cowboys – OG from Alabama – Chance Warmack – Every time I think the Cowboys need to take an offensive lineman, they take something else. In between the tackles the best player is Chance Warmack. This would make a lot of sense, hopefully Jerry Jones agrees.

19. New York Giants – OT from Central Michigan – Eric Fisher – If they don’t go defense then they clearly go offensive line. Eric Fisher would be a good addition to the Giants offensive line.

20. Chicago Bears – C from Alabama – Barrett Jones – Anything would help Jay Cutler stay upright. He’s begging for a big body up front.

21. Cincinnati Bengals – DE from LSU – Sam Montgomery – I really like Okafor over Montgomery but I don’t believe the Bengals will see it that way. Either way adding a DE is a great selection in my eyes.

22. St. Louis Rams (from Washington) – WR from Baylor – Terrance Williams – I say add as much to this offense as they can. They got an OT earlier in Lewan, now you get a great addition at WR in Terrance Williams who is big and fast.

23. Minnesota Vikings – WR from USC – Robert Woods – I’m sorry, Jerome Simpson and Michael Jenkins aren’t good enough options other than Mr. Injury, Percy Harvin. The Vikings get a true receiver in Robert Woods.

24. Indianapolis Colts – SS from Florida – Matt Elam – I absolutely love this pick. Elam is a great safety and he can do it all. He’ll be a great addition for the Colts defense.

25. Seattle Seahawks – DE from Texas – Alex Okafor – Another pick I love in this draft. Okafor to the Seahawks has terror written all over it. He’s going to terrorize quarterbacks. Damn you Pete Carroll.

26. Baltimore Ravens – ILB from LSU – Kevin Minter – Ray Lewis is retiring. What else do I have to say other than the fact that Joe Flacco sucks?

27. San Francisco 49ers – DE from Oregon – Dion Jordan – This is one team I never know what to choose for them. They took random players last year. I’ll go with Dion Jordan who has great potential to be a special player. This defense is already good, he’s just another piece to the puzzle.

28. Houston Texans – WR from Tennessee – Cordarrelle Patterson – This guy has a crazy first name but he can make some crazy good catches. Andre Johnson is touching 31 years of age, it’s time to get younger at WR. Patterson makes sense.

29. Green Bay Packers – TE from Notre Dame – Tyler Eifert – I believe Finley’s time is done in Green Bay. I thought he was released but he’s still there. Either way he’s on his way out. Hello Tyler Eifert, you and Rodgers will have a lot of fun by ruining my Sundays.

30. New England Patriots – WR from West Virginia – Tavon Austin – Wes Welker hasn’t been re-signed and Gronkowski has been hitting the injury bug lately. Austin is a small quick receiver…Belichick likes those guys.

31. Atlanta Falcons – DE from BYU – Ezekiel Ansah – Ray Edwards got released and John Abraham is old while Bierman is someone I can’t buy into being a starter at DE. Ansah will be an upgrade and should fit just fine in the Falcons defense.

32. Denver Broncos – FS from LSU – Eric Reid – Secondary help is the biggest need for the Broncos. Having a player like Reid will do that for this defense. They’d be dumb if they didn’t take Reid here.
