Is Michigan overrated or is Alabama just that good?

I guess the coming weeks will give us a more definitive answer but what was very clear tonight was Alabama being the far superior team in Arlington as they rolled in a 41-14 victory over Michigan.

The only real offense Michigan was able to muster was a 71 yard pass from Robinson to Jeremy Gallon which set up a six yard TD run for Denard. The disparity though between the two teams on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball was really remarkable. It often times looked like a bunch of men playing against a bunch of boys while that gap between No. 2 and No. 8 in the preseason AP rankings looks to be huge.

In all fairness though to Robinson, Al Borges’ game plan looked awful from the start as he tried to pick apart an Alabama defense that obviously made him pay. Hopefully he learned his lesson.
