Dwight King broke a 1-1 tie in the third period and Jonathan Quick was stellar yet again as the Los Angeles Kings beat the Phoenix Coyotes 2-1 Thursday night taking a commanding 3-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals.

Quick made 18 saves as the Kings won their 8th straight playoff game putting themselves on the cusp of their first Stanley Cup Finals appearance since 1993 when they lost to the Montreal Canadiens.

Phoenix’s Mike Smith stopped 26 shots in the losing effort.
