The White Sox saw their playoff hopes all but disappear after the Tigers completed the sweep in a big way from Comerica Park on Sunday. The Tigers compiled a 24 hit outing on their way to a 18-2 route of their division rivals. Chicago is now 8.5 back of the division leading Detroit Tigers.

Arizona Diamondbacks 4, San Francisco Giants 1
D-Backs manager Kirk Gibson continue to show why he deserves to be the NL manager of the year after his team pulled out a 4-1 victory over the defending Word Series Champion San Francisco Giants. Arizona now has a 7 game lead in the NL West over the Giants who managed to take the first game in this weekend series.

Toronto Blue Jays 3, New York Yankees 9
Yankees shortstop tied a career high 5 RBI’s and C.C. Sabathia earned his 19th victory of the season as the New York Yankees beat up on the Blue Jays 9-3 completing a three game sweep.
