Southampton’s Sadio Mane set an English Premier League record Saturday netting himself a hat trick in just 2 minutes 56 seconds against Aston Villa.
Christian Benteke and Shane Long went on to add two more goals for Southampton giving them a 5-1 lead.
The biggest knock on soccer in the United States is the apparent lack of scoring so Mane might be on to something here. Just score a quick hat trick in every game and do the MLS a huge solid.
