Bryon Scott is returning to the team that he spent the better part of 11 years playing for. This time though he’ll be looking to turn them around from the sideline.

According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, the Lakers have agreed to terms with Scott making him the 25th head coach in the team’s history.

A veteran NBA coach Scott has 13 years of court side experience (416 wins) with head coaching stops in between Jersey, New Orleans and Cleveland between 2000 and 2013. More importantly though he has Kobe Bryant’s stamp of approval as the Lakers superstar has been lobbying for the Scott hire for weeks now.
