It wasn’t disco demolition night but the White Sox marketing department failed once again at another promotion.

Last week in a game against the Los Angeles Angels, the White Sox decided they’d do their fans a solid and provide them with some ponchos… you know just in case it started to rain on the South Side. But not only did the White Sox decide that it was a good idea to hand out a bunch of ponchos, they went ahead with the idea of making those ponchos white with pointy hoods. And why not? There can’t be anything wrong with a bunch of people walking around wearing white robe looking ponchos complete with pointy hoods? Right?
