The Lakers were dealt another huge blow Thursday as it was announced Kobe Bryant would miss the next six weeks with a fractured tibia.

Bryant’s injury occurred Tuesday night against Memphis in the third quarter but still managed to finish the game with 21 points in 33 minutes. This includes what he was able to do in the fourth quarter.

After signing a two-year deal worth $48.5 million dollars a few weeks ago Bryant would be on track to return sometime in February. This of course goes without mentioning the extra 20-25 games he’ll miss in addition to what he missed at the beginning of the year due to a torn Achilles.
